How to Use the Precise Price Tool

If you are interested in exploring how the Precise Price tool works, then you will find the following information extremely helpful! When you have found a vehicle you are interested in, you will click the “Start Purchase” button on the Vehicle Information Page. This button is also found under eligible vehicles on the inventory page as well.

Next, a page will pop up that looks similar to the one above. On this page, you can select the down payment amount you will be applying to your vehicle, enter your credit score, and change the loan’s term length. Any changes made will change the monthly payment shown in the lower right corner. This page will always open for a Finance agreement, but it can be changed to a Lease agreement or Cash agreement in the top right corner. Let’s click “Continue” as if we were financing the 2018 BMW 4-Series.

For this example, we will proceed with a $2,000 down payment, a 700 credit score, and a 60-month agreement at 3.49% APR. The page shown above will ask us if we will be trading in our current vehicle. To just highlight the basics of the Customize My Deal tool, we will select “No” and then “Continue” to move forward with our finance agreement.

This next page will highlight all of the taxes and fees associated with the purchase, including the Washington Sales Tax. Click “Continue” to move on to the next step.

This next page shows all of the protections available and their monthly prices. Customers can get more information on the first four protections on this list by clicking “Learn More” to the right of each protection’s monthly price. We will move forward without selecting any protection for this example. Click “Continue” to do so.

We have now arrived at the final page. This page shows the final monthly payment for our Finance agreement. From here, we can save our progress by clicking “Save This Deal”. We are now ready to head to the dealership, and they should have all of our information available, and we can move forward with the purchase. The final page also shows us that we saved about 2 hours and 15 minutes that we would have spent at the dealership.
